Via the A5 motorway Karlsruhe – Basel, take the Neuenburg-Müllheim-Badenweiler exit, then follow the feeder road through Müllheim towards Badenweiler/Oberweiler on Weilertalstraße. At the sports and leisure pool, turn right into Ernst-Eisenlohr-Straße. Follow this road past the East car park and, level with the “Markgräfler Hof” hotel on your right, turn left into Schwarzmattstraße. Hotel Schwarzmatt is a few meters ahead of you; up the driveway on the right, you will reach our arrival parking spaces and the main entrance of the Schwarzmatt.

IC and ICE connections go on the German side to Freiburg im Breisgau Main Station or in Switzerland to Basel Badischer Station. Via regional transport, you have a connection to Müllheim / Baden station (approx. 10 km from Badenweiler). We would be pleased to arrange a taxi for you to the station at your preferred time, at a fixed hotel rate. Alternatively, you can also reach us from Müllheim Main Station with regional bus no. 650 B. Please alight in Badenweiler at the “Busbahnhof” stop – the “Schwarzmatt” is just a few meters up the road. For a more relaxed journey by train, you are welcome to have your luggage sent to the hotel in advance via courier service. We will receive your luggage and store it until your arrival.

The nearest airports are EuroAirport Basel–Mulhouse–Freiburg (approx. 45 km away) as well as Zurich (130 km) and Strasbourg (125 km).
Your arrival and departure:
Please note that rooms are ready for occupancy from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we kindly ask that rooms be vacated by 11:00 AM.

Please contact reception if we may assist you with your luggage. We would also be happy to store your empty suitcases. Train travelers may leave their luggage and luggage receipt at reception until it is collected by the luggage service.

Outdoor parking spaces are available free of charge above and below the hotel. Upon request, you can reserve a numbered parking space in our underground car park for €15 per night. Electric cars and e-bikes can also be charged in the garage.

Upon request, you may settle your bill at reception one day before your departure (please also note the reception opening hours). For the hotel bill, we accept EC cards, Maestro cards, and all common credit cards except Diners. Please note any individual daily limit when paying by card.

We accept cancellations or shortenings of your room reservation free of charge up to 7 days before your arrival. After this period, we will naturally try to re-let the room. If this is not successful, we reserve the right to charge 80% of the room rate. To avoid this situation, we recommend travel cancellation insurance.
